The Kipsongo Project

The Kipsongo Project is a non-profit organization working to improve the lives of those living in Kipsongo Slum in western Kenya. Rather than giving handouts, The Kipsongo Project believes in equipping women with the tools they need to earn an income and to contribute to their community in a positive way. Whether it be by helping to connect artisans to the global market so they can sell their goods, or by providing micro loans to enable recipients to start a business of their choice, the project simply provides the tools needed to help the tremendously talented women to reach their full potential.

Station 235 Salon and Kipsongo

The Kipsongo Project holds a very close place in Station 235 Salon owner Megan’s heart. One of the Kipsongo Project founders, Krystina Finn, was Megan’s cousin. Krystina recently lost a very hard-fought battle with cancer. However, her spirit will always live on through the Kipsongo Project.

Jewelry and other Kipsongo goods are on sale at Station 235 Salon. Please check out the large selection of beautiful goods and add a few unique pieces to your closet.
